Dr. Kelly and Kristen Koba-Burdt are steadfast advocates for clients, families, and agencies in the areas of education and behavioral health; having effectively advocated for licensure for behavior analysts and passage of autism insurance reform. Both individuals have extensive experience advocating at the state level and have obtained experience advocating federally as well. In 2019, Dr. Kelly and Kristen were recognized for their advocacy efforts at the Autism Law Summit, and were awarded "Provider Advocate of the Year" and "Outstanding Sustained Advocacy" respectively. Currently, Kristen and Dr. Kelly are focused on improving and streamlining insurance-funded supports, as well as creating access to behavioral health services during the school day.
